The Euroswitch ES-4022 is a magnetic proximity switch designed for a multitude of applications where a reliable signal is required. Constructed with 316L stainless steel, it features an M18x1.0 mounting thread and utilizes hermetically sealed SPCO/SPDT (Form C) contacts made of rhodium, with an option for tungsten. The switch supports a maximum current of 830mA and offers environmental protection ratings of IP66, IP67, and IP68 (24 hours at 30 meters). It operates within temperature classes T4 and T6 and is suitable for use in safety-related systems up to SIL 2 with HFT=0 (1oo1) and SIL 3 with HFT=1 (1oo2). Actuation is achieved magnetically, with a sensing range of up to 125mm, depending on the magnet used.
